Zip conversion
All the good kids’ costumes are for tiny folk! The owner of this fabulous gown finds it hard to find suitably fabulous gear to fit, so I removed the zip up the back and added lacings attached to overlapping flaps, so she can wear it now and into the future.

Silver brocade two piece gown with two skirt options
Top and skirt custom made to fit Georgia Kokkoris as Musetta for Act 2 of the 2023 Rockdale Opera production of La Boheme set in the 1890s; it ended up being used for Act 3 instead. all other costumes by Sandi Tutt.
I added an alternative skirt for the 2024 Troupe Viva production of La Traviata and wore the ensemble myself as an extra. It has also been worn in —

I brought all my gear and worked with the commissioner to help them choose all the options, then assembled the piece on site.
I can offer this service as a group event. I have also hosted many Stitch & Bitches and open craft groups; and run workshops for adults and children on crafts such as screen printing, sewing, tatting, latex dipping, converting trousers to tearaways, soldering with simple arduino robots…
